The revision of your kitchen can feel like a discouraging task, especially if you do not have the money for a complete renovation. Even if a renovation is not near you, economy shops still offer a treasury with furniture and decor. These vintage touches can transform their space into a minimalist harbor or a modern farmhouse -and bring their domestic food to the next level.
Of course it is the most difficult to know what to look for. In front of us we talked to interior designers about what it is worth picking up during their next shopping spree.

Regardless of whether you consist of porcelaina mill, rolled iron or tin, vintage signs can increase interest in any room or a wall. “These are some of my favorite articles for kitchens,” says Stacy Verick Case, owner of Peony Lane Designs. “They add color and personality.”
Woodcut

Would you like to give your kitchen a natural touch? Keep your eyes after large woodcut boards while you are economical.
“[They’re] Always at the top of my list, ”says Jennifer Jones, main designer at niche interior.
Vintage lighting

“Lighting is one of my favorite actions that I can search for in second -hand shops, from trailer lights to your kitchen island to decorative wall stores,” says Jones. “Second hand and vintage devices have more patina and character and can give a room an immediate style.”
Before installing your new (for you), evaluate that you carefully rate the plugs and wiring to fray or discolouration. You would like to replace all outdated or damaged components for security purposes. If you are not an experienced DIY I, a licensed electrician can help you restore your economical purchase for a fraction of the costs of a new light.
Antique kitchen islands

If you are lucky enough to find an ancient kitchen island in the used goods store, Case recommends picking it up as soon as possible. “These pieces add function and personality,” she says. “An ancient island that is well maintained can be a center, offer additional meter space or storage space and introduce a rustic, traditional note.”
Wood dining tables

“A wooden dining table can take for decades and will only be more beautiful with a patina that forms over time,” says Alecia Taylor, designer in the cabinet now.
Measure before searching for a wooden table, measure your space and write down the dimensions in your phone so that you know exactly what size you need. If you know these restrictions, you can save the headache when buying something that doesn't fit.
Sideboards or huts

“A kitchen immediately receives storage and warmth from an antique hut,” says Taylor. “It can be used to show crockery, to place pantry objects in Staber or even to serve as a chic coffee bar. Massive wooden huts and sideboards are tend to be cheaper than brand new, mass-produced pieces in economy shops and can be redesigned or redesigned in order to fit your aesthetics.”
Old jugs or jugs
Like old characters, ancient jugs consist of a variety of materials, including porcelain, glass and metal, so you can find what best suits your aesthetics.

Hide the devices and bring in the economical treasures!”
Unique chairs or chairs
Consider repair wooden chairs or chairs in one stain that fits your kitchen – or sand and refresh every tired wood with a layer of tung oil. You can also keep your eyes open to individual chairs that you love, even if you don't come in pairs.
“Uniform chairs can give your kitchen or dining room a personality boost, ”says Ray Fabik, an economical expert at CTBIDS.
Antique wooden bread bowls

These bread bowls were originally created so that the bread could rise before baking. Today you can use with a fruit and vegetables, says interior designer Christina Kelley. It also recommends keeping the eyes open after a larger molger form, which is particularly suitable for styling a kitchen island.
You can also use your bread bowl to decorate certain seasons. Add a holiday garland and some ornaments and put it on your dining table or snap some LED cord candles and succulents for a peaceful spring shape.
