“A health risk for children”

"A health risk for children"

A homeowner in Reddit closes a house in Florida, but was looking for how the kitchen can be redesigned when choosing between gas and induction.

Many redditors made the advantages of both, but warned of the health risks that gas foci have for children.

The homeowner applied for instructions for R/Cooking Subreddit and said that the house you have just bought had a “very outdated kitchen of the 90s” and plan to redesign.

The operation said: “Would you get a gas cooker or an induction hob?”

According to RMI, “the International Journal of Epidemiology has found that children who live in a house with gas stove have a 42 percent increased risk of experiencing asthma symptoms.”

An international journal of Environmental Research and Public Health study showed that 12.7% of the current cases of asthma for children can be attributed to gas flocks.

It is not just the health of children who affect gas flocks. It also harms the environment. According to a Stanford University study, the stove publishes strong gases that are known as nitrogen oxides when cooking, together with carbon dioxide.

If the stove is not used, another in relation to gas: methane will also escape. The methane, which is ceded out of houses from a gas stove, is comparable to the contaminating gases, which are released from “500,000 petrol vehicles”.

The Michigan University also found that “gas stoves cancel a variety of air pollutants indoors, including nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, benzene, formaldehyde and fine particles.”

In contrast, induction stoves do not produce gases that harm children or the environment. They are also easier to clean, cook faster and more efficiently.

Only heat induction stoves; The device itself does not warm up. This happens through magnetism. As soon as you remove the cookware, the device is cool, which is also much safer for you and your children. Since the stove works in this way, you have a better temperature control. You can also cook 50% faster water than conventional herds.

Induction brands with a built -in battery like copper are a good option if you are ready to make the switch. These herds put in a normal wall outlet behind your stove and use the battery for the additional power you need when cooking and make the installation easy.

In the comments, Redditors had a lot to say that the health risks for children posing gas herds.

A user commented: “Gas polluted the air in your kitchen and can cause asthma in children and pets.”

Another summarized it well: “The gas flocks at the highest end were still gases in the household if they are not used, which is particularly significant as a health risk for children and older people.”

They concluded with the words: “Let's simply be modern people and switch to induction if it is not too much financial burden. Health is #1.”
