In the 1960s, two half -sought huts with three bedrooms in the picturesque village of Badger near Bridgnorth were transformed into four apartments.
Now the Shropshire Council Plans have been presented to transform the class II building back into two houses.
Over the years, the building from the 17th century building was enlarged with a one -story extension in the northeast and a two -story extension.
The recent suggestions include the renovation of the interior of the building to form two houses instead of the existing apartments.
They also include the demolition of the one -story expansion of the 20th century to ensure a new access to the vehicle and a separate parking lot.
Work also includes the exchange of electrics and heating as well as new facilities for kitchen and bathrooms.
The application states: “The proposal does not include the creation of additional floor surface or significant structural changes to the property.
“Thermal improvements are made on roof surfaces and outer wall surfaces on the first floor without the external appearance of the property.
“All electrical, sanitary and heating installations are removed and replaced to meet the current building standards.
“It was taken care that the proposal in the character of the building lies and the maintenance and longevity of property is an advantage.”
The application is available to see online in the planning portal of the Shropshire Council using the reference number: 25/00340/FUL
