Thousands of customers in West Virginia and Kentucky remain without electricity on Monday morning after flood conditions and strong winds swept through the region.

More than 25,000 people in West Virginia and 4,500 in Pike County, Kentucky, are without power on Sunday, as the crews restore the failures after rain, snow and floods.

According to Appalachian Power, Mingo County still has 7,939 customers without service, while Kanawha (5.096), McDowell (3,073), Boone (1,945), Fayette (1,915) Lincoln (1,684), Wayne (1.503) and Logan (1.292) and Logan (1.292) and Logan (1.292) (1.292) and Logan (1.292) (1.292). still severely affected.

More than 40,000 people across West Virginia are without power with several counties who report thousands of customers under failures.

Thousands are without power in West Virginia and in the southeast of Kentucky, since widespread floods are reported throughout the region.

The failures are made when flood reports were reported in dozens of counties in Südwest -Virginia and Ostkentucky.
