Fayetteville, NC (WTVD) – Local HLK companies see an increase in calls over the sandhills, in the middle of the temperative temperatures.
“At the same time, every heat assumes that it is brutal,” said Michael James Johnson with A/C man heating and air in Fayetteeville.
HLK workers have nothing against postponement in the shop, but are never happy to see neighbors who are in the cold.
“Almost every call was ice cream that covered the air conditioning systems or gas inspection authorities who freeze things like that,” said Johnson.
Gore Heating and Air said they see the same thing.
“I saw two fanclings frozen and had to pour away them,” said Justin Moxley with blood heating and air.

The company said that a common culprit was blocked ventilation slots. Another problem is the people who are tried to turn the heat too high if the temperatures are brutally cold, which can burden their system.
“Keep your temperature a temperature on your thermostat. Keep between about 70 to 72 degrees between there,” said Moxley.
But for those without heat or protection, the Salvation Army said that it also saw many people at night
“A person was somehow discouraged because it was so cold, but I try to tell them as long as it is really cold outside, we will be open and he was just so grateful,” said Major Aaron gold color with the salmon.
Not only try that your heating slots are not blocked and the filters change regularly, but also do not change your thermostat too much if it is outside of 36 degrees. Keep it steadily 70-72 degrees and try to get through the next few days until the temperatures heat up again to avoid the load of your system.
