San Diego – – Fernando Tatis Jr. and Manny Machado each drove in two runs and Nick Pivetta threw six strong innings for the San Diego Padres, who defeated the Chicago Cubs 4-2 on Wednesday to take two out of three in a series between the leaders of the National League Division.
