A helpful homeowner in Reddit used his home compost setup as an example to give other users a tutorial for creating garden gold.
“I live in the suburb and my neighborhood has a HOA,” they said. “You are not strict, but open compost is frowned upon. I have this system that works great.”

Hoas often resist when homeowners want to earn their houses and gardens saving and environmentally friendly updates. In the case of compost, your flowers can give a thrust or make it easier to grow your own meal, but many Hoas are about the appearance or smell of a compost heap.
Sometimes you can change the statutes to allow compost, but instead the original poster was successful with this closed system.

They shared a photo of their setup: a number of three covered black containers and a side table with a tub below.
In the first composter, which is equipped with a sealed floor, you use food waste, garden waste, cardboard and urine. Then it will be moved to the next composter, the “Finisher/Cold Composter”. During this, it is moved to the side table. The compost, which is properly sieved, is led to the last container that is used, while the compost that is not sieved is moved back to the first container to continue the process.
According to the original poster, this system produces 200 gallons compost per year and costs it below 150 US dollars.
The commentators were impressed and strived to try their hands.
“You gave me a project, thank you,” said a excited user in all caps. “I really wanted to start composting.”
“This SITIVER BRO. Super jealous. I ended with 5-gallon buckets,” said another user.
