Ecovibe began in 2010 as a small sustainable clothing boutique and now operates two shop fronts filled with plants in the Northeast Alberta Street and a shop at the Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard, which was opened in 2022. Both shops sell a number of inner plants and environmentally friendly.

This summer Ecovibe will be the newer shop in 2380 SE Hawthorne BLVD. Closing, confirmed owner Andrea Allen on Monday afternoon. The Alberta business remains open.

“After 3 years of business in the beautiful Marilyn building, our rental contract ends,” said Allen in an e -mail. “We have decided to take this opportunity to reduce our focus in our original flagship store and invest again. Our business began where our community started.”

The last day of the Hawthorne location is June 15, she said. Ecovibe's 1906 A Alberta Store is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Last month, Ecovibe announced in an Instagram post that it would reduce the hours in its Hawthorne business from Wednesday to Sunday to 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., “due to slower shops in this place”.

Ecovibe will hold a weekend sale in his Hawthorne business on May 24th to 25th, said Allen.
