Strong winds and dust storms swept several parts of Delhi-NCR on Saturday, which led to damage to infrastructure and uproot trees. A section of the steel roof was damaged on the new U -Bahn between Ashok Nagar Rapid Rapid in Delhi due to a strong storm, accompanied by strong precipitation, as can be seen from an official explanation of the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC).
As a precaution, the operations at the station, which is part of the RRTS corridor in Delhi-Ghasiabad-Meerut, were made public in public, said the company.
The NRCTC made an official explanation in which the incident and damage to the roof were confirmed. It also means that no injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
“Due to an intensive storm on Saturday, part of the tin roof was damaged on the new Ashok Nagar Namo Bharat Station. As a precaution, the operations at the train station were immediately stopped,” the explanation said.

The explanation also found that a detailed examination is underway to determine the cause and extent of the damage caused by the sudden magic of storm.
NCRTC also explained that necessary corrective measures are initiated to ensure such incidents in the future.
“The services are only resumed after a thorough consideration and the necessary repairs are completed,” added the NRCTC declaration.
Several areas in Delhi's central, southwest, northern zones and parts of the National Capital region (NCR), including noida, experienced rain, thunderstorms and dust storms on Saturday.
The IMD also predicted a thunderstorm with rain for Sunday. The maximum and minimal temperatures are likely to settle at 42 degrees Celsius or 28 degrees Celsius.
