Annandale, Minnesota – Malco tools On May 17th, his 75th anniversary celebrated with a ceremony and an open house in his newly renovated building in Annandale, Minnesota.
At the celebration, the Malco staff, Annandale Community members and local dignitaries and representatives of the US Senate, Wright County and the city of Annandale, who officially announced the date “Malco Tools Day”.
Malco Tools was founded in 1950 by Mark W. KeymerA young steel supply seller who invented a pipe criminal for the installation of sheet metal channels that were used in forced air heating systems. The company started in a small garage in Minneapolis before moving to his current headquarters in Annandale, where the company now employs over 170 people. Keymer was later included in the Minnesota Inventors' Hall of Fame in 2007.
Malco recently has an extensive building conversion as part of his initiative “look good, feel good, do well” and welcomed the community to experience the updated work areas and see how Malco produces and sends its products from central -minnesota.

Malco became an ESOP in 2015 after the Keymer family sold their end stocks to the company. The company remained in the possession of employees until the end of 2024 when Malco Tools were taken over by the Aspen Pumps Group, which offers the hundreds of employees who are still busy with Malco to this day.
