This business, which is expected to be one of the largest national, is the first step in a five -year destination to set up at least six restoration locations in the Montgomery and Delaware counties. Every purchase and donation in a habitat that restores Montdelco supports the organization's mission directly. About the habitat for humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties
Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties (“HFHMDC”) has been committed to providing affordable opportunities for home ownership and other supportive services for income qualified households in the counties Montgomery and Delaware for over 35 years. Since our foundation in 1989, we have made 112 affordable mortgages available and occupied over 250 owners of owners by repairing critical health, security and accessibility with a special focus on veterans and older adults. With regard to the future, our partner was preserved almost $ 10,000,000 in the next 3-6 years. These funds are advantageous, but are limited to specific uses, mainly for investment costs in these areas, such as: B. the construction of new residential units as well as the repair and rehabilitation.
In order to keep up with the always popular demand for affordable apartments and the associated services, HFHMDC has made structural changes to important departments, e.g. This included doubling our personnel personnel for the home repair program and the planning of scaling our construction department in order to further increase our production of affordable mortgage opportunities. In this economic climate and in particular from Covid-19 pandemic, the conversation about the need for comprehensive housing solutions is encouraging, and the financing is primarily made available by government agencies. In the next 1.5 years alone, HFHMDC is committed by a contract of $ 7.2 million with Delaware County to operate almost 200 households via our house repair program. In addition, we intend to identify, acquire, rehabilitate and sell at least 20 residential units over the next 3 years. Both goals exceed the former performance of HFHMDC by far over the challenge of fulfilling the living needs that exist in the counties of Montgomery and Delaware.
