Fargo-Die Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks have filed a lawsuit for a lighting company for breach of contract and several other counts for lights that should be installed in the Newman Outdoor Field.
The lawsuit was submitted on Wednesday, August 20, and states that the Redhawks and Fargo Baseball LLC are looking for more than 230,000 US dollars to restore funds.
Court documents list several defendants, including Midstream Lighting Holding Inc. (Midstream Holding); Midstream Lighting Inc. (Midstream US), Athletic Lighting Solutions Inc. (ALS) and some people who are connected to these companies.
According to the court documents, the Redhawks paid an invoice for $ 235,305.44 in November and agreed to pay 50% of the total project costs in advance according to the agreement.
In the lawsuit it is claimed that the USA would not have provided the equipment and that the services for the Light Project on the Newman Outdoor Field have started for violating the agreement.
The President and CEO of Redhawks, Brad Thom, declined to comment on the submission of the judicial report on Wednesday evening.
According to court documents, Midstream Lighting Ltd (Midstream UK) has corporate headquarters in London. Midstream UK wanted to expand into the USA and opened this headquarters in Miami in 2019. Midstream Holding is the parent company of MidStream UK's subsidiary Midstream Us, Documents Details.
In October 2022, Midstream US opened in the Ohio -based headquarters according to background facts in the submission. According to court documents, Midstream Holding allegedly hired the financing of Midstreams US US US US institutions in September 2023. In the submission in April 2025, the Redhawks and Midstream US agreed to a contractor, which the Midstream's deposit payment had to be returned together with interest and legal costs up to a period on April 23. This forced the Redhawks according to court documents to find a new lighting supplier.
