Tokyo, August 27, 2025 -Mitsubishi Logisnext Co., Ltd., Part of the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) group, will exhibit at the “4th Innovation Expo” from September 10th to 12th in Tokyo Big Sight (Tokio International Exhibition Center), East Hall 4-8.
This is the second time that Mitsubishi LogiSnext took part in this Expo, which alternates with “Logis-Tech Tokyo”. Under the topic “Did you give up automation? Why don't you start automating forklift processes?” The company will present a live demonstration of the “Platter Auto S -Typs”, an automated forklift with Mitsubishi LogiSnext -TeTotungs technology “Synfox”.

Synfox is an automation technology that was developed with the elementary technologies of the digital innovation brand “σSynx” (Sigma Syncs) (note). A prototype was presented in the “16th Logis-Tech Tokyo” in September 2024, and this event will mark the unveiling of the product version for publication in the 2025 financial year.
Since its foundation in 1958, the model of the Mitsubishi Logisnext Platter model has developed in terms of safety, operational ability and energy efficiency and has become synonymous for battery forklifts with reach, which is now widespread in the logistics companies. With a chronic lack of workers and increasing work that becomes serious social problems, Mitsubishi LogiSnext, who developed the world's first automated forklift in 1971, has created a new plate model: the “Taste car” to support the efficiency of warehouse operations by automation.
During the presentation, the process and freight handling tasks carried out by a manned plate fork are reproduced using a plate type. The demonstration takes place in a phase that resembles a working environment and enables the participants to experience the effects of automation by comparing the tasks before and after implementation.
In addition, the actual equipment between presentations, the presentation of automation and autonomy solutions for all warehouse tasks with battery forklifts is available from the range of inbound inspection to storage and outgoing shipping.
Other functions include an automated truck charging system and automation technologies for cooling memory as well as various safety support options to meet the requirements for safety in logistics scenes that are introduced via Monitor displays.
In the future, Mitsubishi LogiSnext will continue to use his technical expertise as a pioneer in the manufacture of a comprehensive logistics supplier to develop products and to provide solutions to the challenges in the logistics industry.
- Σsynx is the digital innovation brand of MHI, which expresses “intelligent connections”, integrating intelligence and technologies for coordination between humans and machines. If these concepts are used, synchronized and coordinates this standard platform different types of machine systems, including logistics products.
