Even if the actor Akshay Kumar juggles a packed shooting plan, he remains rooted in tradition. The actor, who is currently shooting his upcoming Haiwaan project in Kochi, Kerala, marked Ganesh Chaturthi with an intimate Ganpati Visarjan on the set.

In one of us exclusive video, Akshay personally has the idol-a environmentally friendly Ganpati-as his team during the ritual.
What was really made aware was Akshay's graceful gesture: he folded his hands, offered a respectful sheet and then carried out a crispy “cool Visarjan Move”, diving the idol into the water with a waves. The simple, yet powerful moment showed his calm self -confidence and his awe and earned from the crew and fans of warm admiration.
Akshay, who often spoke about the importance of sustainability and careful celebrations, has selected an environmentally conscious IDOL this year. The moment reflects his faith to celebrate festivals with responsibility, even if they are not at home.
Everything we know about Haiwaan
Under the direction of comedy Maestro thriller specialist Priyadarshan, Haiwaan began shooting in Kochi on August 23 and after 17 years marked the highly expected reunification of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. The two were last seen together in the film Tashan on the screen.
Haiwaan is advertised as a highly oktane action thriller. It already collects with its stars, including Shriya Pilgaonkar, Saiyami Kher, Asrani, and a surprising cameo of the Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, the role of which remains under closure.
Akshay will accept a darker color in the film as an antagonist – a shift from his usual heroic picture. The filmmaker Priyadarshan even described Akshay as “Bollywoods Mohanlal”, praised her creative bond and was the same with the revered legend of the Malayalam Cinema.
Shooting is aimed at a publication of 2026 in several places – from Kochi to Ooty and Mumbai.
