What if your smart home could control your computer? This is now possible thanks to the new integration of Opera GX from Opera GX, which makes the browser behave like another device in its connected setup. Instead of intelligent lights or speakers who react to their commands, their browser can also join in order to react to what happens around them and to serve as a trigger for their other home automation tasks.
Opera software
The function works via the Opera GX Smart Home extension, with which the browser can speak to hubs such as Home Assistant and Homebridge. It can work quite a bit: your room can be stupid if a film begins, a door can switch to red if you are buried in tabs, lamps can shine warmer during the game, and your intelligent coffee machine can be with your first tab. And since the system is open source in the morning, people can create their own wild ideas for creating and sharing what this cross between the web and the physical world can do.
The end result
Opera GX is the first browser to be connected directly to Smart -Home networks. This means that your room can react to your browsing and your browser can react to your room.
