Anantapurs Green Warrior has a plastic -free revolution

Anantapur: In a city that is better known for his dry climate, a man has transformed a man with the epicenter of the Indian base war against plastics.

The founder of the discovery of Anantapur, G. Anil Kumar, who is often described as an environmentalist and humanitarian, presented his latest initiative, free distribution of environmentally friendly spoons, plates, shells, boxes and coffee cups from paddy sleeves and bagasse. This step gives his six -year struggle a new dimension to replace individual plastics with sustainable alternatives.
When Anil Kumar started at the start of his new initiative on Sunday, he emphasized that farm waste should not be burned or rejected. It can be converted into durable, biodegradable everyday products. “By inserting them into the hands of the citizens free of charge, we would like to show that sustainability is accessible to everyone,” he emphasized.
This large -scale distribution follows the pattern of the discovery of Anantapur, the pattern of the introduction of practical alternatives and provides households, schools and local companies free of charge.
Saree bag Revolution
If there is an initiative that can describe the soul of Anantapur's green trip, it is the Sareebag movement. Old Saris, who are hidden in cupboards, reborn as strong, reusable shopping bags. Behind this quiet revolution are 142 female tailoring, which were authorized to sew their future from their houses and earn at least 1,500 GBP per week. Anil Kumar said: “These are not just bags, it is dignity, livelihood and stories of transformation.”
He continued the idea and presented canvas to death, wearing pictures of historical and cultural sites and converted everyday tag bags in tools to tell stories. Each shopping bag reminds of the legacy and at the same time promotes sustainability. Just like Saree bags, dead people are distributed free of charge to ensure that the culture of the city and the eco-measurement go hand in hand.
Discovery Anantapur's initiatives were recently highlighted at the conference of the collectors of Prime Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu with the presentation of the Saree bags.
War against plastics
Anil Kumar's war against plastics began with paper pens, of which more than 90,000 had been distributed to students. Soon afterwards he started Grasstrohhalme as a natural replacement for plastic straws. He directed the free sales of 200,000 bamboo sanitarian pads to the school and the college girl and offered both dignity and environmentally friendly hygiene.
The efforts of the founder of Discovery Anantapur go far beyond anti-plastic campaigns. He and his green army started his house for Bird's project and distributed 1,85,000 bird nests, brought back more than 3,50,000 sparrows and set up four world records. At the same time, his team planted 45,000 trees, distributed 2,20,000 fruit nets and saved 200 adult trees from dirt.
Discovery Anantapur launched the India's awards for sanitary swacchata yodhas and arranged at her workplaces and donated useful household appliances.
Unep Anil Kumar honored the Golden Tree Award for his initiatives. He also has his loan to the Changemakers Award 2022, the International Tourism Award and the Covid Warrior of the South Award.
