Colorado Springs, Colorado (KKTV) – A man is suspended several charges after he has supposedly attacked his family member and a police officer.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), the officials reacted to a disturbing family disorder in the 4900 block of the Markling Boulevard on Saturday at 4:45 a.m.
When they arrived in the area, the officials said that the suspect went away from the house. The officials said that the suspect was not compliant with their instructions and had become combative when he was imprisoned.
After the police there was a fight and the suspect hit the face of an officer. Officers say they used a taser during the argument, but it was not effective.
Additional officers arrived on site, and Chaz Kimble, 36, was taken into custody.
Further investigations showed that the suspect had strangled a family member and had fled the scene when the officials contacted him, the police said.
Kimble was charged with two attacks and disabilities of a second -degree peace officer and booked into the Elpaso County criminal judicial center. According to online prison documents, it is recorded in a bond of 10,000 US dollars.
The injured officer was treated and released in the hospital.
