Missouri City, Texas – After more than a week without a work elevator in the anniversary in Texas Parkway, the management in the independent senior living complex has published a new explanation that deals with the growing concerns of the residents and provides a clearer repair time bar.
A spokesman for Jubilee on Texas Parkway said that the facility worked around the clock to solve the elevator failure that had included several senior residents in their apartments.
The facility confirmed that new parts for one of the two lifts were ordered and are expected to arrive within five to seven days, whereby the repairs begin immediately after delivery.

“The necessary parts were ordered for the elevator two, but are currently subordinate,” says the explanation. “We monitor the situation carefully and will start these repairs as soon as they arrive.”
In the meantime, the facility has stated that it carried out several interim support measures. The employees carry out daily wellness tests, support the residents in food and means of transport and stay on the call to satisfy all other urgent requirements.
The update was expressed after increasing pressure from the residents and their families, the frustration of the continued failure and the lack of information. Photos that were shared with KPRC 2 showed beforehand that meals were delivered to the residents who could not leave their units, and several residents said KPRC 2 that they felt stranded or unsafe navigating stairs.
Jubilee on Texas Parkway is classified as an independent senior citizens' home facility, which frees it from the stricter regulations for assisted living and nursing homes.
However, management insists that you take the problem seriously.
“The security and well -being of our residents have our top priority,” said the spokesman.
It remains to be seen whether the promised timeline will take place, but the residents are hopeful that the long -awaited repairs will finally be in sight.

We actively worked around the clock to restore both elevators, and after several days of the error correction, we have confirmed the new parts that are needed and they were arrived within five to seven days.
“The repairs begin immediately after arrival. For the elevator two, the necessary parts were ordered, but are currently back. We monitor the situation closely and start these repairs as soon as they arrive.
“In the meantime, our employees continue to carry out daily wellness tests, help with food, help with the arrangement of the transport and are on the advance for additional needs.”
