AQARA implemented material functionality during its product line

AQARA, a global developer of IoT Solutions, has announced that it has added the Matter platform via its product ecosystem.

The AQARA Home platform is intended to integrate more than 50 unique types of material devices in order to simplify the management and automation of the connected home devices of its customers on a central platform. In addition, the bridging function Advanced Matter, which was originally introduced with the Hub M3, is now available for all AQARA Matter controller and bridges. With this function, retailers can seamlessly bridge the extended functions of Aqara Devices on matter platforms from third-party providers.

“Aqara endeavors to use interoperability with matter cross -platform,” says Eugene, founder, chairman and CEO of AQARA. “We believe that an open ecosystem is of essential importance for the widespread introduction of smart -home technology. By promoting the support of matter, we offer users more flexibility, adaptation and improved experiences over platforms and at the same time offer our customers, regardless of the platform, which they prefer.”

Interoperability always had a priority in the product design of AQARA that the company gives. For years, AQARA has been working with large platforms such as Alexa, Apple Home, Google Home, Home Assistant, Homey and Smartthings to ensure seamless compatibility and optimized user experience for AQARA devices.

The company claims that AQARA, as an early advocate of the standard, has integrated the compatibility of the matter in its portfolio, including its classic ZigBee device installation. In order to further improve the connectivity between thread-capable devices, AQARA has optimized its thread-rim router for the support of thread network parts so that they can connect existing thread networks from other ecosystems. In addition, AQARA -Thread -border routers with the ability are improved to communicate via various local networks (LANS)*. This approach significantly improves the robustness and reliability of the Smart Home experience.

In order to offer users even more flexibility, the company Advanced Matter has introduced their hub M3. This function was developed to bridge the functions and functions of AQARA on matter platforms of third-party providers. With the increased functionality, users can convert adjusted scenes and signals that were created in the AQARA Home app into virtual plugs and occupancy sensors, which can then be synchronized using the matter with other platforms. With this function, users can bridge advanced device functions, which have so far been exclusively into the AQARA ecosystem such as the detection of AI cameras for the device in AQARA cameras and the autumn detection in FP2. In addition, users can bridge advanced functions of the AQARA automation engine such as power automation, which can trigger different automation based on the real-time consumption of a device.

The new bridging function is available for all existing and upcoming AQARA Matter controller, including the Hub M3, the camera HUB G5 Pro, the Hub M100 and the doorbell camera HUB G410 as well as older matter bridges such as the HUB M2, HUB M1S/M1S Gen 2, Hub E1 and Camera Hub G3. In this way, more users can maximize the functions of their intelligent houses, regardless of the matter of the matter you have chosen.

The Bridging function Advanced Matter is available in the current list of material controllers and bridges via firmware version 4.3.4. To access this function, AQARA Home version 5.1.4 or newer is required.

“We have seen enormous growth and enormous dynamics for matter, which partly thanks to leading brands such as Aqara, which simplify consumer experience,” adds Tobin Richardson, President and CEO of the Connectivity Standards Alliance. “Aqara by expanding support in their lifting and bridge products as well as the widening of the compatibility of matter on their platform is proof of our joint vision of simple, interoperable and powerful smart -home -future. We welcome the team at AQARA to achieve this impressive milestone.”
