Butte – A group has had a group of dust for years and people have the chance to take a tour of the latest houses that have been restored. And learn on the way how important it is to preserve history.
“We get ready and it will be a bit dazzling when it is finished, but it will be between dust when you see it,” said Mary McCormick from Butte citizens to maintain and restore.

This is one of six historical real estate in Uptown Butte, which on Saturday, June 28th in dust to the Dazzle tour in the dust for debazleTH. Citizens for the preservation and restoration have been organizing this event since 2005 to emphasize the importance of the preservation of historical properties.
“The situation in Butte is still a little bad, but certainly not so bad 20 years ago when demolition appeared on the right and left,” said McCormick.
A property that is presented is a former warehouse. A Butte couple spent the last four years to restore the building with fire damage and to get caught in decay.
“It is a great feeling of satisfaction to take something that has been so dilapidated for so many years and has it back, you know that we only want to show people in Butte that this is the kind of projects they can do,” said Mike Handley.
The event uses funds for the program for house improvement, with which real estate owners receive grants for repairing buildings. Many believe that the preservation of old buildings tourism -dollars brings to Butte.
