Knoxville, Tenn. -a large house building company in East Tennessee will soon celebrate the largest “CrossMod” district with houses that are as energy -efficient as possible.
These types of neighborhoods are built with a large number of “CrossMod” homes that are designed as energy -efficient as possible and meet the federal requirements in order to be viewed as a zero -energy -Ready houses. Buildings in this federal program must effectively be so energy -efficient that renewable energy systems compensate for the most or their entire annual energy supply.
According to Clayton Homes, his “CrossMod” houses are designed in such a way that they are seamlessly integrated into established properties and include an energy -efficient device with low energy, energy -efficient devices and an intelligent thermostat.
