Construction begins in Bloom Village, the first environmentally friendly city of Iraq

Baghdad (iraqinews.com) -The construction was a significant shift in the direction of sustainable urban planning in Iraq and has officially started Bloom Village, the country's first large-scale residential project, which is completely environmentally friendly.

The project south of Baghdad near Dora-Yusufiya Highway is developed by the Al-Jidar Group for real estate and industrial investments. The developers stated that the city is aiming to offer residents a healthy and sustainable life by involving huge green rooms and ripe trees to ensure clean, environmentally polluted air.

A central feature of Bloom Village is the trust in clean and renewable solar energy that provides electricity and all service and leisure facilities.

According to the company, the project represents a “qualitative jump” in sustainable urban development with a low -carbon city. They expressed hope that it will serve as a catalyst for other companies in order to carry out similar green initiatives in the near future and to organize with the global trends in environmentally conscious construction.
