"Down Home Fab" Design Choice shared HGTV fans

The new season of HGTVS Fabulous Premiere on May 27th. And it triggers some debates among fans.

In a courageous step, which refers to the usual farmhouse meets moderates styles that have appealed to most interior design lovers, Chelsea and Cole Deboer are head catchers in a full-grown design in the 1980s, which is spoken to the audience.

In a clip of the episode, which was recently shared by HGTV, Chelsea explains how to bring an explosion of the past to home tastefully. “This house will be a dream of the 1980s,” she says as they renovate. It indicates that lively colors, curved walls, rattan textures and playful squiggle forms are an easy way to channel this design in the rear-back style. Sounds cute, isn't it? Well, some fans were totally surprised.

It is a dramatic departure from the more neutral, more buyer -friendly pallets that can usually be seen on renovation shows, but that was exactly the point. I mean how often do you go to a bathroom with a mauve toilet? Some fans loved the brave, risky atmosphere of the episode. “This was my favorite episode! You kicked outside your comfort zone and it was fun to see something more creative, “commented a viewer the Instagram clip.” Most shows/designs are for safe customers or future buyers. I liked the risk of taking it to have inspired the 80s. “

But others weren't quite as impressed. Comments like “Dream = Nightmare”, “Just Noooo” and “It is personally and respectfully not my style” quickly filled the post (and these are just a few of the tame). It clearly shows that not everyone is ready to rethink the 80s.

Despite the division among the spectators, the most important opinion came from the couple whose home was changed. You absolutely loved it. For them, the room was nostalgic, funny and perfect with her personality and style.

While Fabulous Usually played it safe with modern rustic aesthetics. This season proves that the Deboers are not afraid to enter into some design risks. And whether you love it or not, the 80s are back and this writer totally loves it!
