FlexTecs has launched AP Inbox Assist, a module that leverages AI to automate accounts payable inbox management, the company said.
The tool captures messages from AP inboxes and uses AI to classify, route, and design responses using live ERP data. AP Inbox Assist recognizes invoices and maps them to payment workflows, identifies supplier invoices and routes them to reconciliation processes, designs responses to payment status requests for review by Accounts Payable, flags suspicious requests such as bank account changes, and provides dashboards with SLA tracking. The module is part of the FlexTrap platform from FlexTecs, the Atlanta-based recovery testing and contract compliance firm expanded Earlier this year with a statement reconciliation feature.
