Shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office and Lifestar Ambulance responded to State Highway 49 after a 911 call reporting a man had fallen from a roof and suffered serious facial injuries.

First responders discovered that a 38-year-old man was working on patching a hole in the roof of his cow barn when he fell through and landed on concrete about 20 feet below, sustaining serious injuries.
