The Eden Tiny Home designed by Belutschon is an oasis of the calm imagery that shows an artistic use of the room. This compact French apartment is located on a double axis trailer and is completed in red cedar and proves that little life can be both practical and quiet. With a length of only 6 meters, Eden was manufactured with a double purpose: serve as a full -time apartment and as a home office for its owner in Normandy.
If you enter the house, you will deal with an interior that feels intended in every detail. The main living area of the Eden is open and airy thanks to large windows that invite nature and a floor plan that is designed for the simple movement. However, this living area serves as a picturesque home office instead of a typical living room that is equipped with a desk and a chair. The kitchen is modest on a scale, but has high -quality cupboards and enough preparation room for daily meals. A small dining table sits two and makes it ideal for intimate dinner or focused work sessions.

One of the most important design features by Eden is the staircase kept. This clever solution maximizes the vertical space and puts the essentials without disorder or compromises. The stairs led to the bedroom roof floor, a classic tiny house movement, in which a low ceiling creates a cozy sleeping corner. Even here Baluchon added discrete storage and ensured that the residents have space for clothing, books and personal objects. While the ceiling height of the bedroom feels restrictive for some, the payment is a feeling of privacy and retreat, which is rare in such a small footprint.
The Eden offers interior and at the same time expands the outdoor living space with a 107 square meter terrace (10 square meters) and seamlessly connects the house with its rural surroundings. This terrace becomes a second living room in good weather – a place for morning coffee, evenings or even outdoors. The transition between inside and outside is effortless and makes the best of the Normandy of the house.
Natural materials and minimalist sensations dominate in Eden. The outer age of the red cedar is beautiful, while the metal roof gives a touch of industrial resilience. The palette within the house remains reserved: wood, neutral colors and clear lines promote a feeling of calm and order. This design selection feels both modern and timeless, perfect for those who appreciate the calm and clarity in their surroundings.
The layout of the house supports both daily and remote work, with plenty of light and connectivity installed. While some compromises are inevitable – the low ceiling of the bedroom, the compact cuisine – the design language of Baluchon is sure that the home feels generous for one or two people. There is a feeling of the purpose of the conviction that good design can make a small life possible and also very satisfactory.
