Pima County, Jan.
9, 2024 – Homeowners with a low income that want to make their houses more secure and weatherproof can possibly get a helping hand from Pima County.

The Pima County Board of Supervisors
agreed on 7 to 0 on January 7th to accept three state-funded grants from the Arizona Department of Housing, which would provide additional funds for energy efficiency measures for homes and the installation of health and security systems for qualified households.

Financing would go to the
Pima
County Home Repair Program
which
Offers support for qualified homeowners who are concerned about health, security and energy efficiency of your houses.

“By providing members with low income with the help of preparing necessary repairs in their own homes, this financing reduces household costs and improves health
and security of existing housing stocks in the district, ”said Dan Sullivan, director of the
