A simple mistake in the back yard is to flood the house of this Australian.
After he discovered that the unkempt pipe of a neighbor flooded her home, this Redditor R/Landschaftsbau asked for advice on how to proceed.
“We recently moved to our house and recently noticed the pipe for our neighbors under the bottom of our fence,” they wrote. “Water now floods the side of the house down and seeps through the Weep holes in the bricks of the water, since the channel we have in this area cannot keep pace in heavy rain.”

The pipe is just above the property line and causes a lot of damage. An unkempt pipe can be an easy mistake, and it seems that the neighbor is not malignant, so the first procedure of the Redditor should let the neighbors know.
Unfortunately, not all neighbors are lovable. Sometimes neighbors are a mild annoyance, like the neighbor of this Redditor, who throws cigarette butts into their garden. In other cases, neighbors are downright criminal-dieser neighbors have agreed to the centuries-old tree of the homeowner and fell illegally.
Neighbors, landlords and Hoas can often serve as an obstacle to environmentally friendly home upgrades, e.g. B. the resumption of your garden or the installation of solar collectors. If you are limited by curious neighbors or strict landlords, there are still many simple ways to have a green home, such as portable introductory copies or LED light bulbs.
The commentators offered many different ways to tackle the situation.
“In many (if not most) places that are prohibited according to local statut,” said a user. “Inquire with your community/district. The neighbor can fix the situation.”
“Give them the chance to be good neighbors. Talk to them about it. If things don't go well, call the enforcement of the code,” suggested another commentator.
“Be in advance … You could even get in touch to help you play the water flow at work. A good relationship with neighbors pays long -term dividends,” wrote a third Redditor.
