A residential settler has announced that he is investing more than £ 3 million for adapting air source heat pumps in new buildings.
Llanmoor Homes, a developer based in South Wales, will install these environmentally friendly pumps in all newly built houses from this summer.
The upgrade replaces conventional gas boilers and contributes to increased energy efficiency in the houses.
The first round of houses that this technology is built on the field of Rossers Field in Govilon, Parc Tondu in Bridgend and Saint Sannans Field in Arenbargoed.
Tim Gray, Llanmoor Homes Director of Sales, said: “As a responsible residential building developer, we strive to make our houses as energy -efficient as possible and reduce their CO2 footprint.
“That is why we are proud to be the leading heat pumps in all of our new building homes from now on.”
The air source heat pumps work with electricity and thus offer a renewable and energy -efficient alternative to conventional heating systems.
The technology extracts heat from the outside air and turns them inside heat for hot water and central warming.
Up to the construction costs per house compared to the previously employed gas boilers will be added to 10,000 GBP.
Then Mr. Gray said: “Buyers know that Llanmoor houses are built, taking into account the quality and are already very energy -efficient.
“Now buyers can reassure that they are even more energy -efficient and environmentally friendly.”
