The Interior Minister of the Union, Amit Shah, has assured the BJP MLAS and senior party leaders that the terror -related situation in the Jammu region will soon be managed. He confirmed the state of the central government in statehood towards Jammu and Kashmir that it was restored at a reasonable time. Mr. Shah held in the presence of Union Minister Dr. The responsible National Secretary General J & K Tarun Chug, BJP UT boss Sat Sharma, head of the opposition (LOP) Sunil Sharma and MP Jugal Kishore Sharma and Ghulam Ali Khatana were also present. Mr. Shah arrived last night during a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir in Jammu to check the security situation, interact with security personnel and practically open the cornerstone for multi-crore projects in the Union territory and to check the progress of development work. Mr. Shah was admitted by lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha, Senior BJP leader and top brass of the J&K administration. Mr. Shah has a hectic schedule in both Jammu and Kashmir departments. He will visit the International Border (IB) today and visit the BSF Border Out Post (BOP) Vinay in the Kathua district to assess the floor situation there. Mr. Shah will meet the family members of the martyrs of the J&K police in Raj Bhavan Jammu at 2 p.m., who died against militant and also has the appointment letters to some of them for compassionate reasons. He will go to Srinagar in the evening. Tomorrow Mr. Shah will lead two decisive separate security review meetings of the uniform headquarters and the annual pilgrimage of Shri Amarnath Yatra in Srinagar. The interior minister will devote a number of multi-crore projects to the people in J&K through a virtual inauguration and basis for stone stones. Mr. Shah will initially record various development programs in the Union area at a meeting in Raj Bhavan in Srinagar.
