Stainless steel devices give kitchens that look slim, modern, but their flawless appearance can easily be impaired by fingerprints and other smudges. A homeowner shared a simple, inexpensive solution to look good as new in her kitchen.
The ball
Ramon Israel (@Ramonisrael) went to Tiktok to share what a commentator called “Genius” Hack. “Use a little coconut oil and buff away,” he says.
@Ramonisrael how to make your stainless steel shine 🪩✨ Simply use coconut oil and polish away with a microfiber cloth. #KitchenAppliances #kitchcleaning #Cleaninghacks #easyclean #hometipips #CleaningTips #coconutoil #homecleaning ♬ Aquamarine – Addison Rae
“This glows and free of fingerprint that your stainless steel is free,” says Ramon in the video.
Israel only took a little coconut oil and rubbed it on his devices and then used a “unusual scrubber” to pack until it was clean. He says a microfiber cloth will also work well.
As Ramon said in a comment, “Do it.” Just that.
How it helps
Coconut oil has many applications outside of cooking. Why does coconut oil work to clean devices, maybe you ask? The oil dissolves oil while the cleaners on water -based oil ward off. This also helps to prevent future stains. It can be used to take labels and adhesives from glasses, and it doesn't stop in the kitchen. You can also clean and polish your bathroom taps.
Buying an ingredient that serves several different purposes is good for your wallet, and if it is non -toxic, that's even better. Traditional cleaning staff often contain hard chemicals that can represent health risks, including breathing problems and long -term damage to vital organs.
Cleaning products can also affect the environment. By evaporation and rinse, cleaning staff can get into our air and water, which can strongly influence the air quality and our types of water. The use of environmentally friendly cleaning agents can help reduce health and environmental risks. Find out how to get involved in natural cleaning.
What everyone says
A Tikok user said coconut oil caught dust and was slimy for them. Israel replied: “So it is best to use a little and check it properly.” A little goes a long way.
“Window cleaner also works great,” said a commentator.
By replacing chemically filled cleaning agents for simple, natural alternatives such as coconut oil, homeowners can keep their kitchens flawless and at the same time save money. Small changes like this add up and make everyday cleaning safer, more affordable and better for the planet.
