A Living Canvas: How Michelle LeMoine Is Redefining Outdoor Spaces and Inspiring Generations
“I think of design as a painting. Every garden is a canvas. When I transform a space into something enchanting, it's no longer just a garden – it's an extension of who my clients are and who I am.”
SEATTLE, WA, October 10, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ — Home is more than four walls. It is a sanctuary where we seek peace, joy and renewal. And while many of us spend hours choosing the right furniture or painting the perfect accent wall, the true first impression of any home begins outside – in the gardens, the lawns, the trees and the quiet beauty that greets the world before a guest even walks through the door.
For more than 23 years Michelle LeMoineFounder of Verde Gardenshas turned those first impressions into a legacy. Her work isn't just landscaping; it is storytelling. Every lawn, every path, every flower bed is designed with an artist's eye, a scientist's precision and a steward's care for the earth.
“I think of design as painting,” shares Michelle. “Every garden is a canvas. When I transform a space into something enchanting, it's no longer just a garden – it's an extension of who my clients are and who I am.”
From roots to vision
Michelle's journey began in childhood with a deep connection to nature. That love led her into higher education: a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design from the University of Illinois, followed by an Associate Degree in Technical Arts in Landscape Design and Ornamental Horticulture from Edmonds College. She became certified as an ISA arborist in 2004 and has the expertise to honor and protect the living ecosystems in which she works.
But Michelle's story has always been more than just references. It's about listening – to the soil, to the seasons and to the dreams of families who want their outdoor space to feel like home. Whether it’s installing irrigation systems, designing patios, or arranging native plants in harmonious displays, Michelle has built Verde Gardens with a mission: to bring people closer to nature in a beautiful, functional and sustainable way.
A heart for people, pets and the planet
What truly sets Michelle apart is not only her technical prowess, but also her uncompromising values. Every project she is involved in carries her signature commitment to environmentally conscious practices. Pesticides and harmful chemicals have no place in their designs. Instead, she uses natural ingredients, educates customers about beneficial insects, and ensures every garden is safe for children, pets, and wildlife alike.
“If a client doesn't share these values,” Michelle admits, “I'll walk away. My work has to honor the planet. It has to be safe.”
This belief has only grown stronger over the years. Nowadays more and more families are looking for it Verde Gardens not only because of his artistry, but also because of Michelle's passion for sustainable, organic landscapes. From pet-friendly weed control to native plant installations, she sets a standard that benefits both homeowners and the environment.
Designing spaces, creating legacies
Every consultation begins the same way: Michelle listens – to her clients' hopes, their routines, and their vision for how they want to live outdoors. She then creates designs that connect these dreams with the reality of budget, ownership and ecological balance.
Would you like a quiet spot for your morning coffee? A fire pit for cool fall nights? A stone path leading to a garden full of native flowers? Michelle delivers not just what is desired, but something deeper: a space that enriches daily life, promotes mindfulness and promotes well-being.
“Spending time in the garden is more than just decoration,” she reflects. “It's medicine. It reconnects us to the earth and to ourselves.”
An artist of nature
Michelle's reputation in the Pacific Northwest is built not only on decades of successful projects, but also on the legacy she leaves behind. Every garden is a piece of living art. Every design is a dialogue between people and place. And every choice—from the stone of a patio to the plants in a flowerbed—reflects her belief that beauty and sustainability can and must coexist.
Today, more than ever, Verde Gardens is a testament to this philosophy – a beacon for those who believe thoughtful design can enrich lives, restore balance and inspire generations to come.
Because when Michelle creates, she doesn't just create a landscape.
She maintains the connection.
She maintains the legacy.
She paints life itself – one garden at a time.
