Indianapolis (Wish)-A local woodworker in Indianapolis focuses on the use of upcycled and repurposed materials to produce environmentally friendly designs.

Tre Wright works with his wife Jessica in Indy Eco Art.

Wright says that you focus on creating custom elements made of new material.

He says it is always a common effort between him and the customers.

“They think about what the customer wants, and then they have to think about what can be done with the articles they have,” says Wright. “They sketch it and it's really just a common effort.”

According to Wright, children's kitchen sets are one of your most popular articles that you sell.

“We sell some of them every year,” says Wright.

Each kitchen set can be adjusted

Wright says they make a variety of things.

“We do everything from smaller shelves and decorative objects to large tree houses,” says Wright.

According to Wright, the business started after making a homework gift for a family member.

“If they had asked someone before I did it, they would have said that this was the last one I was interested in,” says Wright. “But I absolutely love it.”

Wright says it's always fun to see a vision for something.

He says it takes a little imagination.

“Many people do not know that their old chest of drawers who had their grandma are reused or transformed into a table or something else,” says Wright.
