The Jamesport Tri-County Board of Education approved several measures during its meeting on April 17, including updates to the salary plan, cooperative agreements and repairs of roofs.
The Board of Directors approved an updated certified salary plan with approximately 3% increase and steps. An increase in the non -certified salary plan by 3% was also approved. Superintendent David Probasco explained that the basic salary for teachers is 40,000 US dollars, supported by the minimum salary scholarship.
The board members approved the persistent participation in the minimum apprenticeship and career manager programs that are dependent on state approval and financing.
A bid of Troyer roofer was approved in the amount of $ 223,921 to repair hail damage. The repair costs are covered by the school's insurance.
The board approved sports cooperatives for the school year 2025-2026. Cooperative agreements include Junior High and Varsity Football with Gallatin as well as autumn and spring baseball with Newtown-Harris and Grundy County R-5.
A request from the facility for the old gym was approved for the Jamesport Ministerial Alliance.
Missouri advisors for education have been approved.
New board members have been sworn in, including Kelly Neeley. The board held officer elections without changes. The officials remain President Heath Cook, Vice President Luke Skinner, secretary Jennifer Simons and treasurer Jeremy Turner.
The board also discussed the upcoming school calendar and the budget. No measures were taken.
An executive meeting was completed to check personnel matters. This included reviews for non -certified employees, decisions about extra duties and updates of the replacement teacher and the replacement bus driver pool. All positions were approved as presented.
