The versatile material uses the texture and appearance of real marble by mixing shredded marble, resin and dyes. Real marble has more depth and complexity and a less glossy look than its artificial counterpart. Cultivated marble is a budget-friendly alternative to high-end marble worktops, but it becomes fashion. Fortunately, the Marrs have some alternatives that they used in the renovation of houses to achieve an updated appearance.

Jenny Marrs works together with her husband Dave on her show “Fixer to Fabulous” to redesign and renovate dancing, aged houses in dream houses for well -deserved families. In season 5 Episode 4 of “Fixer to Fabulous” Jenny Marrs notices the blue stripes in the cultivated marble worktop of the main bath and asks: “Is this toothpaste or is that the marble?” They replaced the dated white-blue worktop with an elegant, modern black granite in the kitchen and in the bathroom. Jenny Marrs announced that she wanted to achieve a neutral design. In a similar kitchen update, she emphasizes that “the contrast between the dark points and natural wooden cabinets gives the right amount of depth”.

It has also shown how simple white worktops can contribute to illuminating a room with other designs that she has completed for her show. In previous renovation work, she used long -lasting white quartz worktops for a clean, airy feeling and an elegant appearance. The Marrs shared on their Instagram page that a simple way to convert a “dark and outdated kitchen”, which is to combine minimalist, white worktops with natural wood. If it is time to choose from different types of marble slabs, it is sometimes less. Experts like Marrs are advised against the selection of busy imitation marble. Instead, choose easier neutral worktops for an updated, modern look.
