Kolkata Knight Riders reveal environmentally friendly biodegradable jerseys as "Runs to Roots" campaign back

Kolkata (West Bengal) [India]March 19 (Ani): The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) announced the introduction of her New Jersey from biodegradable materials. This jersey, together with its innovative environmental initiative, increasingly roots the commitment of the team for sustainability and environmental protection according to a KKR press release.

The new KKR jersey, which was presented at the beginning of March, is 100% biodegradable in a compost state and sets a standard for sustainable sportswear in Cricket. The jersey shows the team's three championship stars and is reminiscent of their victories since the leading T20 league began. This is in addition to the representation of the three stars you bought in the Gemini constellation to celebrate your three Indian Premier League (IPL) trophies (IPL).

In addition to the environmentally friendly jersey, KKR has introduced sustainable packaging that turns into plants when sown with water in the ground. This innovative approach eliminates waste and contributes positively to the environment.

In addition to the start of Jersey, KKR will continue with the “Runs to Roots” campaign during the 2025 season and build on the success that the team had at the end of the 2024 season.

The fans are already available to the biodegradable jerseys and sustainable packaging, so that they can take part in the KKR environmental mission.

The Knight Riders will start their campaign against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on March 22nd in the iconic Eden Garden. You want to defend your title and add another wonderful chapter to your legacy.
