Norway – Lights Out Gallery will curate and organize an art exhibition in cooperation with Woodhull in the Safford House in Portland from May 29 to October 29.

The Atlantic Morning over the horizon of Casco Bay is a group exhibition in the newly restored Safford House in Portland, Maine. This historic Italian manor house, originally built in 1858, was lovingly revived by the architecture and construction company Woodhull, based in Portland, which has preserved its size and at the same time integrated elegant, modern details. The exhibition produced by Lights Out will take place from May 29 to October 26. Special events and programs are planned throughout the season.

The main exhibition rooms include four floors, including gallery rooms, ballroom studios and a dome that offer a unique encounter with art and architecture. The show shows artists with a deep connection to the Maine Arts community and works in the media, including installation, painting, tapestry and ceramics.

Artists in the Atlantic morning are resonance due to their demanding nature and respect for materials, qualities that are resonance with their own careful restoration of the Safford House. The attention and respect dedicated to this house is reflected in the works of art on the inside and combines the old and the new.
