Loaded EVS | Aviloo updates its EV battery certificate with diagnostic, benchmarking and range knowledge at the cell level

Aviloo has released an update for its flash battery test platform with a more detailed and more accessible certificate for used electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids. The new version introduces additional metrics, benchmarking functions and a visual format to improve transparency and trust in the EV -Remarketing process.

The updated certificate contains the “Aviloo -certified” seal that is used if no defects or anomalies are found. It has improved calculations of the state of health using refined algorithms and the growing Aviloo battery database. Additional improvements include thermal mapers on the cell level for defect localization, comparative benchmarking based on battery sizes, kilometers and age as well as new range of reach, which compare the real area with the manufacturer and average database.

The Aviloo flash test should deliver results in three minutes and now generates results via a new visual format called Aviloo Preview. In this format, the technical indicators for the health of batteries are emphasized that support remarketing specialists and non-expert customers in assessing the EV battery power.

“The Aviloo battery test increases the battery diagnosis to a new technological level,” said CEO Marcus Berger. Add to the fact that Aviloo calculates the SO independently instead of relying on data reported by vehicle battery management systems.

Aviloo customers, including Manheim Express Europe, have registered improved business metrics after integrating the certificate into their evaluation workflows – such as 33.4% higher sales rates. The flash test covers about 95% of the vehicle brands and is TÜV and Cara certified.
