The ownership insurer in Florida, founded by the former Bermuda referee, Stephen Weinstein, develops the human capital, which is necessary to create a long-term, stable real estate insurance solution for the “Sunshine State”.

Tim Cotton has appointed the Mangrove real estate insurance as the new Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Cotton has devoted 30 years to the industry, 28 of which were on the Florida real estate market.

A spokesman for Mangrove said Mr. Cotton brought strong relationships with independent agents and return representatives to the company and further strengthened the depth of mango.

He is experienced in the role of Chief Operating Officer with tasks for drawings, political services, sales and marketing as well as claims.

He is known for its pioneering work on the market, which develops with the development of repair and home restoration programs.

Mr. Weinstein, Chief Executive of MangroBe, said the company was a long-term, stable real estate insurance solution in Florida and is dedicated to a high level of drawing and damage services.

“Our strategy requires experienced, expert and ethical leadership,” said Weinstein.

To Mr. Cotton in leadership roles at Mangrove are Chris August, Head of Distribution, Allan Franklin, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, Eduardo Miranda, Senior Vice President Risk, Underwriting and Analytics, and Brian Turnau, damage manager.

Mr. Weinstein, a former Renaissance Executive, began Mangrove in January.

The insurance office in Florida has approved the insurer to take over homeowners and guidelines for residential properties from the Citizens Property Insurance Corporation during the proceedings in April and June 2025.

Mangrove has a financial stability rating from A, which is exceptional by the Financial Stability Rating Company Demotech.

The company will soon voluntarily write a new business with new business house owners outside of the citizens on a voluntary basis.
