Nanoleaf Launches State-of-the-Art Light Therapy Face Mask and More!
At CES 2025, Nanoleaf, known for its home automation products, took a step beyond its usual offerings and introduced an LED-based yet unique product: a light therapy mask for the face.

Light therapy and dermatology

Nicknamed the “Nanoleaf LED Light Therapy Mask,” this new device uses LEDs to deliver targeted light therapy to treat various skin concerns. In fact, light therapy is a recognized method dermatology for the treatment of acne and other skin diseases such as eczema, hives or psoriasis. Essentially, the light penetrates the skin and improves microcirculation.

In this case, the LEDs in the mask emit near-infrared (NIR) light, which is known for its beneficial effects on the skin, including reducing fine lines, fighting acne, and improving overall skin tone. The mask's ergonomic design conforms to the contours of the face for a comfortable and effective user experience (I'm suggesting a raffle to see who gets to try it in our office).

The mask has seven light modes, each tailored to specific needs:
1. Red Light: To improve skin elasticity and reduce fine lines.
2. Blue light: For acne treatment by specifically combating the responsible bacteria.
3. Green Light: To soothe skin and reduce redness.
4. Yellow Light: To revitalize and brighten the complexion.
5. Cyan Light: A mix of blue and green to balance the skin.
6. White Light: Used to improve skin texture and promote overall regeneration.
7. Near Infrared Light (NIR): Penetrates deep into the skin, supporting healing and improving blood circulation.

Priced at $150, the Nanoleaf light therapy mask is quite affordable compared to other similar devices on the market (which can cost up to $300). Pre-orders are now possible on the brand's official website, opening a new chapter for fans of connected beauty and light therapy enthusiasts.

More innovations

Additionally, Nanoleaf presented more traditional products at CES 2025. This includes a smart multicolor floor lamp that can be pre-ordered on the brand's website. Combining sleek design with dynamic lighting, this lamp offers multiple color options to suit any environment and mood.

The company also presented two new light strips designed specifically for screens. The PC Lightstrip (for gamers and movie fans) is a flexible, foldable light strip that adapts the contours of a screen with its zigzag design. It reflects the colors of games and movies in real time for a completely immersive experience (not compatible with Mac).

The 4D V2 is aimed at televisions. Equipped with a built-in camera, this light strip captures the colors displayed on the screen and reproduces them on the LED strip in real time, creating a synchronized and dynamic visual experience. These products will be available in the second quarter of 2025.

Finally, the accessory maker introduced Nanoleaf Premium, a subscription-based software service for Nanoleaf desktop app users. This service includes Orchestrator (a feature that recognizes songs and generates lighting animations tailored to each track) and Scenescapes (a combination of lighting effects and soothing sounds for an immersive, relaxing atmosphere). Nanoleaf Premium is available now for $1.99 per month or $19.99 per year.
