The Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Saints of the last few days continues to move steadily into its restoration goals, whereby the update in September emphasizes progress in some of the most important and symbolic areas of the sacred structure.
From sealing rooms to entrance buildings and from the bridal suite to the large assembly area, the temple gradually returns to its full beauty for future generations, while he preserves its character from the 19th century.
Heaven and sealing rooms

In the past few months, careful painting and finishing of the sky space and the adjacent sealing rooms have changed. The heavenly space – often referred to as a spiritual heart of a temple – was carefully restored to its original elegance. In addition, New BAS-Relief Wallpaper now adds depth and refinement and combines historical inspiration with modern craftsmanship.

The sealing rooms in the north of the temple are also about to be completed. These sacred rooms, in which families are connected to Eternity from Priestation Authority, now show historically inspired colors. Large sealing rooms have green tones, medium -sized rooms are painted blue and the smaller rooms are adorned with yellow colors.

Every color selection is historically inspired and conveys a feeling of authenticity and awe of the past of this temple. Newly installed chandeliers, which are modeled according to ideas from the same time, give these holy rooms further brilliance.
Bridal suite

The bride's suite – an intimate and symbolic part of the temple – has experienced significant improvements. New chandeliers and wall candlesticks now shed light on the room, while painted ceiling medallions restore details that are true to the original design of the room. These refinements emphasize the purpose of the suite: an inviting and awesome place for brides that can prepare for themselves before and after their sealing regulations.

For saints of the past few days there are temple seals in the heart of eternal family theory. Couples are “for time and all eternity” and create a bond that goes beyond mortality. The restoration of this suite ensures that the sacred moments around temple elevators will be characterized by both beauty and awe.
Temple entrance building

Outside the temple, the work on the two entrance buildings progresses. The crews complete the wall work outdoors, while new sidewalks and planters have been installed in order to create a worthy approach.

After completion, these inputs serve not only as functional access points, but also as collective rooms for guests. The entrance buildings offer waiting areas and an inviting atmosphere for customers and families who come to worship and witness sacred regulations.
Assembly area

The large assembly area also takes shape within the temple. This historical space, which was intended for priestly meetings, conferences and holy meetings – has received extensive restoration.

The newly laid parquet floor offers the extensive hall, which has extended the heat, while the balcony area is shortly before completion. The four spiral stairs, one in every corner of the room, were carefully reworked. Craftsmen restored the wooden work in its earlier shine and enabled the stairs to remain both functionally and visually conspicuous.

Additional refinement details such as wall gains and ceiling decoration have also been concluded, which signals that this famous space approaches its last renovation phases.
