New robotics, automation program that comes to the Polaris Career Center in 2026

Middleburg Heights, Ohio – while the technological world is developing, also the Polaris Career Center.

From autumn 2026, a new program for engineering, robotics and automation Polaris students will be available.

A state scholarship in the amount of $ 11.6 million enables that in the rear part of the existing school for top -class engineering, robotics, automation (ERA) program laboratories and classrooms, a 28,000 square meter addition of the art, robotics, automation (ERA) will be built.

The ERA instructor Bonnie Romano offered the children 2026 program 2026 during the recent robotics competition from Polaris Palooza Middle School. Their excitement about the unique opportunity for prospective students of Polaris was noticeable.

“These children have so much that they have not even started to use themselves, and they will be enthusiastic about learning,” Romano told Cleveland.com.

“The final goal is intelligent production. We have a whole generation of people who age outside the workforce … and a country that tries to bring production back to our banks.

“This is the future. And we don't have enough people to fill all of these jobs.”

She explained how companies use robots and automated processes to ensure that their production runs smoothly, but a critical need for qualified people to develop and monitor these processes remains.

“I hope the new ERA program inspires a love of learning and that the students develop trust in themselves,” said Romano. “That they realize that they are capable of so many things.

“We desperately have companies that are knocking on our doors.
