The Community Foundation is changing its name

The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado announced a new name and refreshed look for the organization, officially adopting its NoCo Foundation moniker.

According to a new press release, the name change came after informal research in 2023 revealed that the previous name was too long and its appearance was not particularly memorable.

The NoCo Foundation also plans to celebrate its 50th anniversary from May to November 2025.

The updated logo and font are intended to symbolize the company's evolving personality and position as a dynamic, accessible, innovative, community-oriented organization with a high level of customer service. “And that includes our slogan: Community is our business; As a local, public foundation, we did not want to lose this important word from the previous logo,” the press release says.

The organization is also in the process of updating its website, nocofoundation.org.

Schroeder Roofing donates to local nonprofit organizations

Contributions will help provide critical resources such as meals, shelter and emergency assistance to individuals and families in need.

“As we have served Northern Colorado for more than 40 years, we are always looking for great ways to give back to the place we call home,” Wesley Hill, owner of Schroeder Roofing, said in the release. “Every Roof Counts allows us to support the work of local organizations that are at the heart of our community. By partnering with our neighbors, we can strengthen essential services and create a lasting impact for those in need.”

The campaign applies to roofing projects including new roof installations, re-roofs and roof repairs valued at $9,000 or more. All projects must be planned by March 31 and completed by August 2025.
