Peoria offers roof repair lottery for homeowners with low incomes

Peoria, Ill. (WMBD) applications are now accepted for the city of Peoria's roof program, with which homeowners can pay with low income for the necessary repairs.

According to the town hall, the application deadline at 2 p.m., October 1, to qualify, one person has to own their house, take out home ownership insurance and pursue their property taxes. In addition, a person cannot have outstanding fees or fines.

Overall, the city's community development department hopes to work over 25 roof projects through the lottery.

The income guidelines are as follows.

  • $ 54,700 for an individual household

  • $ 62,500 for a two-person household.

  • For a three-person budget, $ 70,300.

  • For a four -member household, $ 781.00.

  • For a five -member household 84,350.

  • For a six-member household, $ 90,600.

The lottery was opened on Wednesday, September 3. There is a limit of one entry per household. The application for the roof program lotion guarantees no support.
