A new rental building on the border between Park Slope and Gowanus opened a lottery for 50 affordable apartments. Longview is a 17-story tower in the 380 4th Avenue with 197 houses, 30,000 square meters of amenities and 14,000 square meters of retail space. New Yorkers, who earn 40, 60 and 90 percent of the average income in the area, can apply for the apartments that are two bedrooms from USD 874/monthly studios up to $ 2,532/month.

Longview was developed by the Quinlan Development Group and GTIs Partners and designed by GF55. It aims to reflect both districts in Brooklyn by “integrating the historical character and the exclusive streets of Park Slope and the trendy, industrial culture of Gowanus”.
The building comprises 197 residences, including a mixture of a bedroom, a bedroom with home office and units with two bedrooms. Open-Concept Apartments have “condominium quality” LEDES such as individually controlled heating and cooling systems, in-units washing machine drugs, stainless steel kitchen appliances, white marble quartz worktops and oversized windows. Certain residences are delivered with private terraces and terraces.
“Longview was specially developed to capture the dynamics of Gowanus and at the same time maintain the elegance and neighborhood feeling of Park Slope,” said Tim Quinlan, director of the Quinlan Development Group, in a press release in which the project's new teaser site was announced.
“As with all other projects, our long -term property goals we enable more permanent surfaces and a more thoughtful design to be used that provides a house in which humans can form a more permanent community within the building. This is reflected in the wide range of amenities that deal with health and well -being, work, entertainment and family life from home. “

The amenities include a lounge and a media room on the 15th floor, a private meal, co-Arbei dreams, a fitness center, a children's play room, a golf simulation, a parking garage, a bicycle storage and much more.
The outdoor rooms include a 3,600 square meter roof with a view of Manhattan, grills, dog run, dining areas and more open lawn.
Longview is located opposite the Washington Park of Park Slope, home of the old stone house, a skate park, a dog run and several fields and a few blocks from the R-train in 9th Street and in the F- and G trains in 4th Avenue-9th Street.
Construction started in 2023 and the leasing for the market rate units is expected to begin this spring.
