Newlyweds Ryan Tubridy and Clare Kambamettu looked like the happiest couple in Ireland as they tied the knot in a winter wedding on Sunday.

The 41-year-old bride stayed true to her eco-friendly values on her wedding day and chose a beautiful wedding dress from a sustainable bridal boutique called Cirq in Naas, Co. Kildare.

Sustainability is very important to the clinical psychologist and former Rose of Tralee and she often buys her clothes second-hand or from vintage shops – and her wedding day was no exception.

Clare was a vision in white as she wore a timeless Bardot-style wedding dress, which she paired with a hip-length tulle veil.

Her traditional dress consisted of a structured bodice with an off-the-shoulder neckline and a full skirt that flared from her waist and was secured with a gold beaded bridal belt.

She completed her bridal look with slicked-back hair, a few loose curls framing her face, a pair of gold flower-shaped earrings, a natural makeup look and a green bouquet of winter flowers.

Clare previously revealed that she had purchased her wedding dress just two months after her engagement from bridal boutique Cirq, which specializes in pre-owned, restored, ex-samples and brand new wedding dresses.

Speaking to the Irish Daily Mail about her wedding plans, Clare said: “The plans were all surprisingly simple, so it all came together.” I bought my dress a few weeks ago from a bridal boutique called Cirq in Naas. They use sustainable bridal fashion.

“Jennifer, the owner of Cirq, sources all of her dresses from brides who want to resell their dresses, or she sells them on behalf of charities etc. She's just a real gem to deal with, so yeah, I've sorted that out and I still have a few little things to do so it's very exciting.”

Meanwhile, her husband Ryan was a dapper groom in a navy double-breasted suit with a winter floral buttonhole on the lapel of his jacket that matched the bride's bouquet.

The former RTÉ presenter, 52, and his new wife exchanged wedding vows and exchanged wedding rings in the lush surroundings of Abbeyglen Castle in Galway in front of a select gathering of family and close friends on Sunday, December 7.

In the wedding photos obtained exclusively by EVOKE, the newlywed couple was beaming from ear to ear just moments after saying “I do.”

The couple announced their engagement in June 2025 after Ryan proposed during a trip to the west of Ireland. Now, just six months after Ryan's romantic proposal, the couple has been enjoying their dream wedding days.

What a wonderful occasion – congratulations!
