Smoke at the Texas Tech University Frazier Pavilion, which was caused by burned -out HLK engine

Lubbock, Texas (KCBD) – LFR reacted to a smoke report at Texas Tech University Frazier Pavilion on Saturday evening and quickly identified the source as a burned -out HLK engine.

LFR was able to send their initial warning and to pursue the source of the fire in a few minutes.

“Lubbock Fire Rescue is on site at the Frazier pavilion of Texas Tech University for the smoke report in the building. The crews are on site and have confirmed the smell and the visible smoke. The crews work on the pursuit of the source. All occupants have certainly evaculated.”

“Source that is defined as a burned HLK engine. Units will eliminate the scene.”
