In 2017, the award-winning industrial designer Paolo Tiramani and his technical and entrepreneurial son Galiano Boxable founded this to change what was brought to the factory building and sustainability in one of the outdated industries in the world.
Traditional houses need over seven months to build and generate considerable construction waste. Boxing houses are installed in a controlled factory campaign, which minimizes the loss of material, which enables emissions from heavy devices and more powerful energy efficiency of the finished product.
An intelligent, efficient building system
The foldable houses of boxing can be designed in such a way that they are furnished compactly and quickly-and reduce the transport emissions and work on site dramatically. The units are already installed with sanitary installations, electrics, HLK and insulation, which help to reduce energy consumption and the effects of the environment.
This optimized building method makes living more affordable and more scalable and uses fewer resources – with up to two units were sent at the same time and put together on site with minimal waste.
Phase 2: From tiny houses to entire communities
The Casita proved that a house could be built, folded and delivered-complete with sanitary, electrics and HLK. Now Boxable is preparing for the next chapter: Multi module configurations.
This expansion means that the same foldable, dispensable building shells that are used in Casitas can now be combined to create larger structures-in such an impact on urban houses, single-family houses and apartments. The system is designed for precision and repeatability and enables a high quality housing on a scale and at the same time preserves flexibility for various footprints and application cases.
With this modular ability, Boxable lays the basis for a standardized construction system that has the potential to develop residential buildings.
