The “cleanest” Premier League clubs can be announced after the 20 football giants for their CO2 emissions, sustainability, pollution and green spaces have been classified. And Brighton and Hove Albion were crowned Green Champions after reaching the table with an environmentally friendly home win and achieving 80.6 out of 100.
Your Amex Stadium has the second largest green area within 500 meters of each top flight stadium with 188.67 hectares for fans -the second to Brentford FC. Brighton's floor also has the second best air quality in the league with an IQAir air quality index of 33, which is 14.1 as part of the Premier League average of 47.1.
The seagulls also have 7, from a possible 11 -measurement of 11 “Club sustainability” -including the reuse of rain and groundwater in their training area and academies, 100 percent distraction of landfill waste and use of renewable energies.
Most recently, you have the CO2 emissions of the seventh head with 255,600 tons. The Premier League Club average is 432,440 tons.
The extensive data study by Tipman tips creates an environmental table ranking of all 20 Premier League clubs, including Manchester City and United, Liverpool and the Europa League winner Tottenham Hotspur.
Fraser Bricknell, founder of Tipman Tips, said: “With the Premier League, in which their strategy to achieve Netto -Null emissions by 2040, the clubs that introduce more sustainability measures, and the fans that become more conscious of their own CO2 footprints, we wanted to find out which clubs in the Premier League Sustainability stand in the Premier League.
“Brighton's excellent air quality, plenty of green areas and low transport emissions see the seagulls a benchmark for environmentally friendly football.”
The study analyzed four factors to show a total point of 100 out of 100, including:
“Environmental pollution level” from the IQAir Air Quality Index, which measures the air quality, in which each stadium is between 0 and 50 (good) to 301 (dangerous). (Rated 30)
'Green Space', which comes from the framework of Natural England Green Infrastructure, measured the amount of publicly accessible green infrastructure within a radius of 500 meters of each stadium. (Rated 30)
'Club Sustainability Measures' from the Sports Report of the Sporty Premier League Clubs Environmental -related sustainability report, in which it was determined how many sustainability measures the association were carried out by every Premier League Club with possible 11 measures. “Transport CO2 emissions” from the DESNZ Local Authority Co2eq emissions 2023, which describes the entire contaminated carbon emissions from the transport at any location where a stadium is located. (Evaluated from 20)
The Gtech Community Stadium from Brentford is 72 out of 100 tech community stadium, which the team occupies in second place in the entire table, as it is surrounded by the greenest area of all top flights with huge 214.38 hectares within a radius of 500 meters.
North London giant Spurs secure third place with a score of 59.3 out of 100. Tottenham Hotspur have the second highest number of clubs in the league with 10 out of 11 of 11.
Her new stadium is a district of London, which also produces relatively low CO2 emissions with 136,600 tons, the quarter-festival number of the league.
Although Chelsea only has five sustainability measures, it occupies with a score of 52 out of 100. Stamford Bridge, based in Hammersmith and Fulham with the lowest CO2 transport emissions of the league in just 122,300 tons.
With a score of 51.1 out of 100, Fulham sits directly behind her competitors in West London. In addition, Craven Cottage Craven Cottage only benefits in fourth place because it has seven less hectares of green space nearby than Stamford Bridge.
But in the “relegation points” at the foot of the table, Leeds United is only 5.4 out of 100 the least green club with the lowest score in the league.
Leeds suffers from extremely high CO2 emissions with high transport, with most in the league with over 1.4 million tons, sustainability measures by the club and very little near 500 meters around a radius of the stadium with only 8.04 hectares near 500 meters.
While Brighton and Hove Albion come to the top for their green references, Leeds was lows in her far older stadium of the Elland Road in Beeston.
The other lower five places were taken by Aston Villa, Everton, Manchester United and Nottingham Forest.
While the top 5 also showed Brentford, Spurs, Chelsea and Fulham. Manchester City took the 14th, Arsenal 12th and Premier League master Liverpool 11th place.
