Meanwhile, a local Metro Detroit company is working through the smoke to help those who lost their homes in the Los Angeles fires.

The massive fires have put all employees on alert.
Six massive fires have burned thousands of homes to the ground, but even if you are spared from the flames, the smoke is another thing that can pose a danger to residents.
“If you imagine an incinerator and you start throwing a house, a car, tires, fuel, industrial waste into it, the output from that incinerator is what is being dispersed throughout Southern California right now. “So the house may not look like it had structural damage, but it's absorbing all that toxic ash,” Wudyka said.
Toxic ash destroys items in homes and can cause problems later.
Michigan also has its share of disasters, and experts recommend videotaping things in your home.
